AREAS OF USE

MARINE AND FISH FARMING INDUSTRY

Bio-Kraft has extremely good penetration power, and is therefore recommended as a disinfectant in the marine industry, fish farming or other areas of the fish industry.

ANTI-GROWTH IN SEA WATER SYSTEMS

Bio-Kraft is very effective against growth of algae, shells etc... in sea water systems and ballast tanks.
Doses should be added in sea-chests, input filters or directly in the ballast tanks.

COOLING TOWERS

Bio-Kraft is very effective as a disinfection in cooling towers.
Dosage as necessary.

APPROVAL

Bio-Kraft is approved by the Fisheries Directorate as a disinfectant in the fish industry.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Bio-Kraft is a very effective disinfectant for use on all equipment in the fish industry, seawater systems and ballast tanks on boats.

Bio-Kraft combats algae, fungus, bacteria and virus.

Bio-Kraft has extremely good penetration power and is therefore recommended as a disinfectant of, for example, nets and ropes.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

All equipment and tools that need disinfecting should be cleaned thoroughly, before being treated with Bio-Kraft.

All equipment and tools are coated with Bio-Kraft using a spray gun, paint brush or by using directly in the wash and rinse tanks.

For total disinfection, the equipment and tools must be coated for ca 1 hour.

Use gloves and protective glasses when coating with Bio-Kraft, and if necessary a spray mask if working in an enclosed enviroment.

Disinfecting equipment that is in contact with fish or fish food must be washed before use.

DOSAGE

FOR CLEANING/ DISINFECTING

BIO-KRAFT is thinned out with water:

1:100 with moderate infection.
1:50 with heavy infection.

Double the dosage with temperatures under 10°C.

COMBATING GROWTH IN THE SEAWATER SYSTEM

Dosage 1 litre Bio-Kraft per. 200 m3 water.

In seawater environment the dosage should be made once every day, in a period of one hour.

When combating growth in ballast tanks the dosage is 1 litre per. 20 m3.

Very high concentrations of microorganisms can require a greater dosage.

CONTROL

After the disinfection period for Bio-Kraft is completed the result can be controlled by using our Dipstick Combi, or by sending samples to our laboratory.
